there hasn't been an official code release to interface the MSP-EXP430F5529 to the Chronos. However, if you are interested in such development, I'd recommend getting a CC1101 EM board that can plug into the MSP-EXP430F5529 and using SimpliciTI to interface with the Chronos. There is an official port of SimpliciTI for the MSP4305438A device that can be easily ported over to MSP4305529 platform. You will need to configure the MSP430F5529 as the Access Point to accept one or more Chronos(es) to join the network.

I have SimpliciTI ported to the MSP-EXP430F5529 for use with the CC2500 via the RF2500t. http://e2e.ti.com/support/low_power_rf/f/156/t/126946.aspx It should be easy to have it working with the CC1101.
