I'm having a problem compiling the following program:

Can someone give me some lights on why this might be happening? Does it has anything to do with the file guards?

You appear to be missing the linker (.cmd) file. Look in your project for a file named "lnk_msp430fr2433.cmd".

CCS normally supplies this file when you create a project. Try creating a new project and copying your .c file into it.
