MSP430FR6005: UHF RFID Compatible Microcontroller

Part Number: MSP430FR6005

Tool/software:

I am in need of a microcontroller that is able to connect to sensors and operate passively on a uhf rfid signal. I'd like to know more about what options might be available for this, and would like to talk more to an applications engineer about my needs. I was told asking a question on here was the best way to get in contact.

  • Hi Cecilia,

You were informed correctly, asking on E2E puts you into direct contact with an applications engineer from TI. By selecting an MSP part number you've gotten one from the MSP applications team.

As for your microcontroller selection, could you elaborate more on what you mean here? Connecting sensors is fine for just about any device depending on the interface you need so those details would be helpful (I2C, SPI, UART, etc). The part I am less clear on is "operate passively on a uhf rfid signal". Do you mean that you'd like a device that can be powered wirelessly via the RFID signal? Or do you just mean you'd like it to support an RFID sensor?

  • I would like to specify and explain my project further but not on a public thread, how can I get in actual private contact with a TI applications engineer?
