Good morning,
this morning we received a brand new MSP-GANG programmer purchased on Mouser.
This programmer was tested on a custom circuit with a M430F2132 microcontroller.
When programming, the programmer always fails at the Blank Check or Programming phase with the error message ERROR 33: IR communication.
The same circuit, with the same mspgangimage and the same wiring used for testing the new programmer, can be programmed without problems with a different MSP-GANG programmer purchased 2 years ago.
We tried to change the wiring, to program different mspgangimage, and we also tried to change the GANG SPLITTER with the old one. Nothing worked.
Mouser does not allow us to return the defective programmer without authorization from TI.
What can we do?
