MSP430F5418A: PWM output issue

Part Number: MSP430F5418A

Tool/software:

Hi...

We are using msp430F5418A in our application. In application we are using PWM pin output for setting the current. The PWM pin output is on timer B0 based. In new ordered batch of MSP430F5418A we observed that,

some microcontroller give high o/p on PWM pin when TB0CCR1 is loaded with 65535 and one microcontroller gives low o/p on PWM pin. why it is so?

Please note the hardware & software are same.

Thanks & regards,

Nutan

  • The code that sets up the timer would be a lot more useful than a description of what you think is happening. That would provide information on useful things like: timer mode, value of CCR0, and output mode.
