Is code that implements 3DES algorithm available from TI? Prefer, if it is tested on FRAM based MSP430 it would be ideal but if not , it is OK, if it is tested on any other MSP430 or other processor.

At this time the code that implements 3DES is not available.

3DES is more complex and less secure as compared with AES. TI has both firmware code and hardware module for AES.

But if you need 3DES, you need 3DES.
