Tool/software:

The flow rate = meter constant *( Delta TOF/(UPS TOF * DNS TOF))

meter constant =( Length * Area)/2

Area of cylinder = (2*Pi*r*h) +( 2*Pi*r*r)

where , r is radius & h is length of flow tube. Flow tube is cylindrical in shape.

But why TI use area of circle i.e as area =Pi*r*r 

Also when I use Area of cylinder my flow rate comes near to actual. But when I use area of circle there is much much difference.

    In actually application, the meter constant is usually calculated on a flow rate test bench. Where you can get the flow rate value from the reference meter and the dTOF, absTOF result can get form the MCU. Then you can use those data to calculate the meter constant value. 

    No need to care about how the meter constant value in theory.
