MSP430FR6047: Webbench Designer Schematic Downloaded only 4 bytes

Part Number: MSP430FR6047

Tool/software:

Dear Friends;

I want to download my power designs in EagleCad format. But the .zip file downloaded cannot be unzipped and gives file format error. When I check the property, the file size is only 4 bytes and disc allocation is 0 byte. I'm using Chrome brower. I tried with Microsoft Edge but the result is the same.

If you look at them they are all marked as 1kb but if you view their properties, they are all of size 4 bytes and of disc space 0 byte.

Please help becaue I need that schematic to get library for a specific part for which Mouser doesn't have.

For your information, there no issue downoading TINA schematics.

Best regards,

Suh, Sukho

  • Hi,

You have put the MSP430FR6047 as the part number. What is the relationship between this chip and your issue?

  • Hi. It's you again.

    Thank you for your reply.

I'm modifying my power supply design for my project using MSP430FR6047. I know my question doesn't have direct relationship with that MCU but in order to post question, I couldn't leave the PRODUCT column blank. So, I put it there.

By the way, do you understand my problem? Are you aware of this phenomenon? I hope you can help.

    Best regards,

    Suh, Sukho

  • Hi,

Emm, I do not understand your issue. It seems that you try to download something from a link. But the file is not what you expected.

  • Hi!

You don't understand my issue? I think my message is very clear.

Do you know there's function to dowload the designs (electronic schematics and the pcb designs) that we designed at WebBench Designer?

If yes, have you ever tried to download the design file in EAGLE or ALTIUM format?

What I'm saying is that the files so downloaded were EMPTY zip files.

    Best regards,

    Suh, Suikho

  • Hi,

I am not familiar with this WebBench Designer. It should be something belong to DCDC or ACDC power supply team. It does not belong to the MCU team. That is why I am asking why you put MSP430 MCU as the part number. We would expect it is an issue related to the MCU. For this power supply issue, it may need you to input an DCDC part number in the catalog for help.

    Best regards,

    Cash Hao
