MSP430FR6043: Using multiplexer and using at least 2 MSPs together with another device

Hi MSP team,

I have two questions in regards to a project that I'm doing on my own. 

1. Is it doable to use a multiplexer with MSP430 in order to use more than 1 set of ultra sound transducers? For example TS5A9411 from this eerd https://www.ti.com/tool/TIDM-02005 ?

2. If not, can 2 MSPs be synchronized by another device in order to take more than 1 measurement from the same pipe?

    Hi Adam, thanks for the question! Are you needing these to be done simultaneously, or just one after the other. Using a mux, you will need to consider the channel-to-channel switch time and the settling delay as well. You could probably use 2 MSPs if this needs to be done simultaneously, but there could be issues with clk sync, etc.
