MSP-TS430PZ100: Issues selecting device in Code Composer Studio to program the board

Tool/software:

I am using the MSP-430PZ100USB target board to program the MSP430BT5190IPZR microcontroller and I am not sure what device/board I supposed to choose in Code Composer Studio for my project. Could anyone offer any support on what I should choose or if there are another libraries that I need to download. Thanks

Hi Dinuk,
I don't seem to find example project for it either. My recommendation will be to export a project from the same family (it should be the MSP430x5xx and MSP430x6xx family,) and replace the .cmd and .ccxml with your desired MCU (MSP430BT5190.)

Hi Diego,

Thanks for those files. I used them and tried to build and then debug my project on CCS however I received the following error.

File Loader: Verification failed: Values at address 0x00200 do not match (expected: 0x407C, actual: 0xE90F) Please verify target memory and memory map.
GEL: File: C:\Users\dsilva37\AppData\Local\Temp\ti_cloud_storage\BT5190.out: a data verification error occurred, file load failed.

For reference the C file i am using is named BT5190.c

I am new to programming MSP microcontrollers so I am not sure what this is. Could you assist in fixing this?

Hey Diego,

Thanks for that. I used my c file with your new cmd file and my project was able to be programed to my chip. I believe my cmd file may have been wrong before. Thanks for all your help.
