MSP430FR2311: Error in flashing code

Tool/software:

I need to flash MSP430fr2311 using MSP FET Emulation tool and FET-Pro430, but I am getting error:

JTAG Communication Initialization --> Failed

Verify Security Fuse --> Failed

Can someone please help on this topic.

How are you programming the device? Are you using a custom board or a coupon board?

Hi Mithilesh,

Can you check your JTAG clock and data lines and see if there's any signal coming into them?

When debugging from Code Composer Studio I am able to debug using the same tool but with Fet-Pro430 I am facing this issue.

Hi Mithilesh,
There is a chance that the issue could be the Fet-Pro430. Can you try to program using UNIFLASH (not a debugging tool, but I want verify that the device can be programmed from both CCS and UNIFLASH)? I'll have to ask around in my team about the status of the Fet-PRO430.

Hi Diego,

Sorry for the late reply. The problem is solved by selecting connection as Spy Bi Wire instead of JTAG.
