MSP430F6775A: BOOT

I know but  according to this the boot code should execute only when is loaded into the PC address 0x1000 where is the cinit00 function address or the first instruction of that code. So why is it executed when I connect jtag and I am memory browsing the memory? I mean without the condition in the protection function being fulfilled? When is the manufacturers boot code modified it can be seen that it starts for a  while. I think the custom BSL part not the boot code that loads calibration data.

I have found this. Can be this signal generated by a uniflash startup code during device verification and connection? Cuz it looks like my bsl code is executed for a short amount of time.

isn't it like the MSP-FET is trying to connect in spy-ware mode? I mean the short launch of bsl code when the jteg is connected might be cuz of that ?

Are you inspecting the boot time? There will be a check for entry into BSL but if no valid entry is given then the device will move to application code. On blank/factory reset device then typically MCUs will sit in the BSL since there is no application code programmed.

Maybe just a little bit but the main part of the question is the BSL code I mean when I do read the memory on the device with the MSP430Flash with the correct setting it won't start the BSL at least not when I will set the parameter to start the application code after memory read. I need it because  some settings from BSL code maybe may affect the main program. So launching the bsl code when the jteg was connected just for memory read or browsing the main memory was not an option for me.

I don't think I fully understand what you're trying to do, are you wanting to read back the memory while your app code is running but you're executing in the BSL instead?

Are you using the bootloader option in Uniflash? It would make sense that would cause a BSL invoke.

I was trying to read memory with uniflash without the BSL invocation but it was not possible at least not in Uniflash. I have tired the msp430Flash software which is some cmd script and with few modification it works. I don't use the BSL option.

Here is the configuration screen used in UniFlash. As I have said, even with this configuration, it still causes an issue. When the Memory Browser option was selected, the BSL code started executing for a while, which was not expected.
