Hello,
I need cheap replacement for MSP430F449.

Microcontroler must work with 160 segment LCD (4x40).
I need at least 2 channels of ADC.
ADC must by at least 12 bits.
I need also 1 UART and 1 SPI.
I use 7 lines IO.
My application do not exceed 64kB Flash and do not need more than 2kB RAM.
Aplication must be low energy. Microkontroler must work all time, without sleep time.
Supplu current must not exceed 3mA.
I looking for some uC from MSP430 family.
I faind MSP430FR6977, but meyby is something better.

Hello,

Maybe you can think of using MSPM0L2228 which has stronger function and meet your all requirement, and maybe cheaper than MSP430. MSPM0 devices is our new family relatively.

thank you very much,

this uC looks very impressive and it is cheap but it has one drawback for me.

I will need learn new technology and i need new tools (XDS110)

Hello Wojciech,

Although you need to learn new technology, but in fact, we have much much learning materials for using M0. You can follow MSPM0 MCUs Development Guide (Rev. E) to quick start. And you can apply for LaunchPad of MSPM0L2228 on ti.com

If you choose not to use MSPM0L2228, you can choose to use MSP430FR6977.

The time is not so critical for me, then I decide to learn new uC from texas.

I will try implement MSPM0L2228.
