I was wondering if someone can verify something.

According to the SPI spec, there are four SPI modes which are:

If I look at the MSP430 user guide for the SPI interface, I see:

Which if both UCCKPH = 0 and UCCKPL = 0, I would expect that would be SPI mode 0 as above but it doesn't match as SPI mode 0 from the spec says data is shifted on the falling edge, but for the MSP430 data is shifted on the first clock edge which would be the rising edge.

Does this make sense that they do not agree?
