MSP430FR6047: Information request about LEA operation with external interrupt

Part Number: MSP430FR6047

Tool/software:

Dear Support Service,

I am writing to inquire about the behavior of the LEA (Low Energy Accelerator) peripheral embedded in the MSP430FR6047 microcontroller during an external interrupt event.

Based on my observations, it appears that the LEA peripheral continues its operations even when the CPU halts its current activities to service the interrupt.

Could you please confirm if this understanding is correct – specifically, whether the LEA operates independently with the CPU's interrupt handling routine?

Hope it is all clear. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Kind regards,

Vladimir Zitoli
