MSP430G2553: connecting to 4-pin Spy-By-wire to program a MSP430G2553 MCU

Part Number: MSP430G2553
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DRV8702D-Q1EVM, MSP-FET

Tool/software:

I am working with a DRV8702D-Q1EVM H-Bridge controller board that has a MSP430G2553 MCU that can be programmed using a TI-CCS software. I have been unable to identify a product that can connect to the board to program the MCU. When the board is connected via mini USB, the CCS software doesn't detect neither the board nor MCU. Previous E2E thread suggested using a MSP-EXPG2ET board to program the MSP430 H-bridge controller but I don't know if its possible to connect the MSP-EXPG2ET to the 4-pin Spy-By-wire (SBW) female connector on the DRV8702D-Q1EVM. Most of options such as the MSP-FET, uses a female 2x7 connector for SBW communications. Basically I need the DRV8702D-Q1EVM to generate custom waveforms by programming its MSP430G2553 MCU, so the questions are:

i) can I do it using a MSP-EXPG2ET board as intermediate?.

ii) if yes, is there any wire/connector available to connect the MSP-EXPG2ET board to the female 4-pin SBW connector on the DRV8702D-Q1EVM? If not, can you provide any other commercial options?

iii) In case we need to custom build out own cable, can you provide me with a wiring schematic and connector types?

Thanks
