Hi expert,
My customer is using FR6972, and among 2000pcs there are 7pcs occurred below issue and would like to know in what cases or what reason could most likely trigger such issue:
- The MCU Icc (power dissipation) suddenly goes up to ~150mA, which is very high and the IC is hot.
- By using RST to try to reset, the MCU could still not react.
- Only if system power down, and turn on again, the MCU could work again.
So, from MCU working side, what cases will trigger such issue? Customer is facing line down and the issue could not be repeatable now so would like TI to provide some insights on the potential reasons. Thanks!
