Dear expert,

We used the GUI development software for MSP430 and found that the software does not seem to support the MSP430I2020 with 1KB RAM. Can the MSP430I2021 code generated in the software be used on the MSP430I2020? 

In addition, the MSP430 series does not seem to support the XDS110. Do I have to use the MSP-FET & MSP-GANG? Thank you.

    Hi Angela,

    If customer want to fit the code into MSP430I2020, they need to remove part of the functions from the project. Like the communication protocol. Some of our customers make it success.

    To Program MSP430, you can't choose XDS110. You can choose to use MSP-FET or EZ-FET on a launchpad  like MSP-EXP430G2ET.
