MSP430F67791A: how to configure "debug"

Tool/software:

whenever I try to start a debug session I get:

 Unable to read file 'C:\Users\xxx\AppData\Local\Texas Instruments\CCS\ccs2000\0\theia\workspaces\Untitled-545.theia-workspace.theia\launch.json' (EntryNotFound (FileSystemError): Error: ENOENT: no such file or directory, open 'c:\Users\xxx\AppData\Local\Texas Instruments\CCS\ccs2000\0\theia\workspaces\Untitled-545.theia-workspace.theia\launch.json') 

Note (I replaced my user name with xxx above)

I uninstalled theia and reinstated CCS 20.2 and this is what I'm getting.  how do go about fixing?  I'm a long time IAR user and this is my 1st project with CCS.
