One of my applications requires to interface the output of MSP430 micro controller with a color display (TFT type).I have been searching with the help of the internet, however, i could'nt zero in on a single LCD module capable of being interfaced with a MSP430. A study of the data sheet shows that the outputs are made available from ports which are not continuous, hence this necessitates me to send data from the ports serially , rather than in parallel.
Is it possible to send data from the MSP 430 to other devices in parallel (without using a serial to parallel converter externally)?
Out of the 18 ports available, do we need any specific device like ajumper or such for doing a pcb integration?
Could anyone help me with choosing a LCD module which suits my need.Also, are there any such Display leaders in India??
