MSP430FR6045: MSP430FR6045 GPIO

Part Number: MSP430FR6045

Tool/software:

Thank you for your help.

Is it okay to assign different functions to individual pins on the same port?

For example, Would it be okay to assign P2.x to UART and switch input, and P1.x to PWM and I2C?

  • Yes, it is okay to assign different functions to individual pins on the same port on the MSP430FR6045 — as long as each individual pin is configured for only one function at a time, and you respect the multiplexing rules and peripheral mapping constraints of the device.

    Best Regards,
    Peter
