Hi,

I see the MPS430F5234 DATASHEET,the pin 25 is defined P3.3/UCA0TXD/UCA0SIMO and the pin 26 is defined P3.4/UCA0RXD/UCA0SOMI as shown in the picture below;

I want to ask that when LSW communicate with MPS430F5234,the LSW is the master device and MPS430F5234 is the slave device;then the pin 25 of MPS430F5234 is the slave output pin or the slave input pin? the pin 26 of MPS430F5234 is the slave output pin or the slave input pin?

Hi,

I suppose you are referring to SPI communication interface. The SIMO is slave in master out, and the SOMI is slave out master in.

If MPS430F5234 is the slave device,SIMO is slave in master out ,then the pin 25 is input pin?

And the SOMI is slave out master in,then the pin 26 is outpin?

The pin direction is named as MPS430F5234 is a slave device?

Yes, you are correct.

The pin name definition is not related to MCU is a master or a slave.
