Hello All,

I have downloaded zip file for MSP430F5310,but unable to view the schematics and layout of the device.

I have  OrCAD-16.0 version schematic design tool , which  supports to open “.sch ” file and .brd file, but it won’t work/ open.

Please let me know ,from where i get    .DSN file for the same MSP430F5310  EVM board as well as FET tool required for debugging.

please help me out asap.

    Hi,

    Which file did you download? I would be surprised if TI offers OrCAD files. Most design files are in Eagle format. Just try it with Eagle (you can download a free version for viewing from cadsoft.de).

    The design files are in eagle format. And unfortunately in a very new version of eagle format which is not downwards compatible. So mos tlikely Orcad has the same problems opening it (even if Eagle format is supported) as I have with my Eagle 4.11

    For just checking the schematics, there's usually a PDF with a printout available.
