MSP430F449: I/O pin source current capability

Hi expert,

For MSP430F449, what is the source current (output) capability of I/O pins? We have some circumstances that the load may shorted and goes ~70mA as pulse, but couldn't find the spec in datasheet. Could you help confirm this spec?

    The diode current is the fault current from voltages outside the power rails. (less than Vss or greater than Vcc)

    Figures 2 through 5 in the data sheet may help as they show the output voltage versus current.

    Hi Joyce,

    Just want to confirm, you are asking what the maximum current that can be output from the IO pins?

    If that is the case this table in the data sheet contains notes specifying that that current should not exceed +/- 12mA or +/-48mA depending on the scenario:
