MSP430FR2355: Missing Timer A registers in msp430fr2355.h header file

Tool/software:

I am trying to build dimple project with Timer A0 with Code Composer Studio 20.3.0 version. Project build fails with error saying "identifier "TA0CTL" is undefined".

I looked at included header file at location "C:\ti\ccs2030\ccs_base\msp430\include\,s[430fr2355.h" and I see register defined for Timer B0 but no register for Timer A0 are defined.

How do I get correct msp430fr2355.h file?

From the device data sheet: "6.10.9 Timers (Timer0_B3, Timer1_B3, Timer2_B3, Timer3_B7"

I see no Timer A here.

Hi Hardik,

As David mentioned, the MSP430FR2355 does not have a Timer A.

Are you referring to a different device?

Thank you guys, this is my first time using MSP430 device and I was not understanding the datasheet properly. I will try with these timers.

Just for the record, the 'B' refers to a type of timer. 'A' timers will have different features than 'B' timers. This goes for the other peripherals, too.
