  • Hi,

does the backlight work if you upload the original sport-watch project by TI?

  • Hello AES and mark ,

I haven't uploaded the original sport-watch project by TI yet . I tried to run the chronos flying mouse project by following instructions on their wiki but i got some error while doing that so i didn't upload other project on the watch . Also , on PPt mode , the '*' button doesn't show the previous slide as mentioned in documentation so that has got me worried.

The UP button works well to change to next slide but not the * button .

And as i said , the light button still ain't working.

    Hoping for your response .

    Regards ,

  • Hi Nirmit,

the flying mouse uses the original firmware of the chronos watch. They just changed the pc software.

Your problems sound a like a software problem. What firmware are you running on the chronos watch?

Also the backlight cannot be turned on in any RF mode like PPT,ACC,SYNC,etc. This is an intended feature no bug.

  • Hi,

I just have the same problem. The watch has been working fine for 3 months now, but I have seen "Bat low" two days ago. One day after the watch rebooted during the night and since that, the back light is not working any more. The Down button also constantly reboots the watch. I have disassembled it to change the battery, but I still have the same problem. I have tried to upgrade to Firmware 2.2 but I also still have the same problem. So I have 2 problems:

    1. The back light button is not working

    2. The down button reboots the watch so I cannot use any of the RF modes

One update on my problem. I have downgraded to 2.0 Recovery and I have changed the battery since the previous one was decreasing very quickly (from 2.8 VC to 2.53 VC in one day). The new one is showing 2.81 VC but it also seem to decrease very quickly as it displayed 2.95 VC when I first put it in the watch. The Down button is still resetting the watch and the back light is still not working.
