I am working with an MSP430 microcontroller, and I want to read an analog input voltage using the ADC and send the corresponding voltage value over UART for debugging purposes on a serial terminal. Can you please confirm if this functionality is supported on the MSP430, and if so, how can I test it?

This should be possible with the EVM:
I would suggest looking at SDK examples and the documentation for the device. For the MSP430AFE221, there is an example that echoes a received character over UART. You can reference this example for your needs.
The MSP430AFE222 and MSP430AFE223 have examples using the SD24. You can reference the examples for the MSP430AFE223, but you may need to verify and adjust the code to work with the MSP430AFE221. I would treat the examples as a starting point.
