Part Number: MSP430FR2111

I'm a recent CCS user.
I'm using version 20.3.0.14 of CCS.
I've just started developing an application that uses the MSP430FR2111, but I'm having trouble creating a project in CCS. To be honest, I don't really understand how CCS displays and presents things.
When creating a new project, I can select the MSP430FR2111 as the device, but it asks me to choose a template, and there is no blank project option.
I had no choice but to choose mps430fr211x_1.c as a suitable project, but the structure displayed makes it seem like that is the project name. I'm having trouble understanding why the project name has a ".c" extension.
I apologize for the inconvenience, but could you please tell me how to create a blank project and a new project using CCS?
