EVM430-FR6043: Liquid meter for very small volume

Hi Experts,

Would like to ask assistance on his query from customer:

In the documentations under EVM430-FR6043 product page:

www.ti.com/.../EVM430-FR6043

it mentioned for ' gas flow metering' application. Customer would like to use it for liquid flow metering. But with very low volumes that are flowing to a very small tube.

Can I also use it for liquid flow metering in my situation?

Which of the three different packages would you advice me to order (which takes me the least of time to make the flow metering work)? Based on the output I will measure the Volume of liquid that comes out in an X amount of time.

    Hi Archie,

    EVM430-FR6043 can be used for both gas and water meter, so it will be good for customer's situation, as for detecting the low flow rate, it's closely related to the water meter you choose, below is the description in the Water Flow Meter Quick Start Guide (Rev. B)


    If want to quick get the water meter work, customer can order EVM430-FR6043 for evaluation, we have plenty of resources and guide in the product page as shown below to help customer accelerate their development.
