Hi,
How to debug the meter functionality using CCS if the meter is connected to the 230V supply.
or how to test the code whether it is working fine or not in CCS?
regards & thanks.

Hi,
Although the external power supply is 230V, but the MCU on your board is actually still powered by 3.3V and isolated from that 230V, right?
If you got debugger like MSP-FET, then can refer to the MSP Debuggers User's Guide (Rev. O) to connect it with your board, you can load program and debug by the guidance in Energy Measurement Technology Guide 1.20.00.00

I got the MSP430F5526LP launch pad it have the on board debugger, can i use this in place of MSP-FET?
If have Isolator, would be better, but I think you also don't need that just like what LP do because there is no Isolator on the MSP430F5526LP.
while connecting the EVM externally powered with 230V, then can i directly connect the debug probe to PC without isolation?
I believe your 230V high-voltage power supply domain and the MCU's 3.3V power supply domain are actually isolated, right? If there is a good isolation between the high and low voltage region, then don't need to add it, but still need to emphasize that add a isolator would be a safer approach to protect your PC
If the ISO is connected then i can't connect it in the debug mode through JTAG? what is the best approach and how to connect to the JTAG without ISO
and where can i see the calibration values in CCS
can we connect CCS and the EMDC at the same time?
Hi Manish,
I believe the following documents will help you better understand the connection. Energy Measurement Technology Guide 1.40.00.03
