MSP430F5633: USCI and pin layout

If you check page 66 of the data sheet, you can see that USCI_B is very versatile:

"The USCI_Bn module provides support for SPI (3 or 4 pin) or I2C."

Each supported protocol has a different pin-out.

Regarding the USCI.

The serial communication required this time is

SPI: 2Ch

UART: 1Ch

.

So, I assigned the pins as follows:

SPI-1: P2.0 to P2.3

SPI-2: P8.1 to P8.4

UART: P2.4, P2.5

USCI have two type, USCI_A(support configure to UART, IrDA, SPI), USCI_B(support configure to SPI, I2C), and you can find the device resource in datasheet as below:

Please let me confirm. If you assign SPI to USCI_A, even if there are free pins on USCI_A, other communications (such as UART) will not be possible.
