MSP-EXP430G2ET: Code Composer Studio IDE

Part Number: MSP-EXP430G2ET

Hello

I have a question.
Some time ago, I could use the Code Composer IDE directly from the Texas Instruments website without
installing the software. Recently, I tried using Code Composer Studio Cloud, which I found through
a chatGPT link. I'm having trouble creating a new project and running code, but I can't find any
information about this version of Code Composer directly on the Texas Instruments website.
Is this IDE still available? I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong during the project
setup or if there's something else wrong. I would greatly appreciate any guidance.

Thank you.

  • Hi Mayra,

I'm moving this thread to our tools team for further investigation.

CCS Cloud can be launched from its the following link: CCSTUDIO IDE, configuration, compiler or debugger | TI.com. Once you launch the online IDE from this page and select your device, you can import examples from the online Resource Explorer.

This can be done by the following:

    1. Launch CCS Cloud from its official page on TI's website
    2. From CCS Cloud, click on the "Browse software and examples" link.
    3. Navigate to the examples folder from the Resource Explorer: MSP430Ware->Device Family->Device->Peripheral Examples.
    4. Select an example and click the import button in the top right corner of the resource explorer page.

    Best Regards
    Brian
