TM4C123GH6PM: Microcontroller Selection

Currently trying to upgrade a handheld meter from the TMS320F2806, possibly to the TM4C123GH6PM.

The main capabilities we are trying to improve are the security features, able to function as USB OTG, and able to control a display.

Is this new chip, TM4C123GH6PM, the correct one to go with, or is there a better low power option that meets these basic requirements?

    Hi Scott, I guess if those are your main concerns, is there any reason you haven't considered the new MSPM0G5187? Not sure what type of display you are using (segment, I2C/SPI based, etc.) but this has USB functionality/features/SDK examples, and is much lower cost than the TM4C devices.
