MSP FET 430 UIF Device not supported

Hi,

I am trying to run the example 'Flashing the LED' application on MSP 430 FET UIF but I get the error message: 'Could not find device (Device not recognized)'. Initially, I faced the driver issue but now its resolved. Still, I get the error message and have no idea what exactly is wrong now. Any help?

I have attached the screenshots of Device Manager and the error message too.

Which prototype board are you using? Some of TI's boards have a jumper to cut off power to the processor. Make sure the chip is getting power.

Hi,

we experienced the same problem with our FET-UIF devices.

the problem is with the updated version of the firmware (v3). try to run the downgrader to v2. It will work..

Now the FET-UIFs are detecting as VCP devices.

here i'm providing a zip file having upgrade and downgrade .bat files

Run v32v2.bat and proceed..

U can rollback to older firmware.

Also I'm giving you the screen shot of downgrade proedure....3513.FET-UIF.downgrader.tar.gz

i have version v2 and in device manager its detect as vcp but i still have same no device found problem. so what i can do?
