MSP430F249: MSP430F249TRGCR Thermal Resistance and Power Dissipation Properties

Part Number: MSP430F249

I am unable to find the MSP430F249TRGCR thermal resistance, maximum junction temperature, or power dissipation values on the data sheet. The data sheet mentions "Package drawings, thermal data, and symbolization are available at www.ti.com/packaging" but I was unable to find that information there as well.

You would have to be operating exceptionally close to the edge for a puny 20mW to cause trouble.

Figure 2. Active Mode supply current. Assuming the worst case.

Almost never that bad with the usual MSP430 habit of spending lots of time in a low power mode.
