MSP430FR6047: reference meter at flows up to 300 LPH, but the FR6047 shows 0 flow from empty pipe to flowing

Part Number: MSP430FR6047

Hi ti teams,

I am checking with a reference meter at flows up to 300 LPH, but the FR6047 shows 0 flow. What USS configuration should I change to detect low flow?
this issue at initial step where empty pipe to flowing...
and it suddently spike to 3000LPH to 15LPH

Thank you in advance.

  • Hi Veeranna,

I don't think you got a good ADC captured waveform, the amplitude is too small and it seems has lots of noise, I wonder what does your ADC waveform look like under zero flow rate? And according to your parameter settings, for common water meter application, the "GUI Based Gain Control" shouldn't be that high but still got such low amplitude for the captured waveform, so another question, is it the clamp-on meter that you are using?

    Best Regards,
    Peter
