Hi Expert,

I follow link to do program the MSP-EXP430F5529LP (HID Bridge)

in figure 9. The green LED2 on the LaunchPad should now be blicking slowly

in my case is consloe window showed message

[success] program load completed successfully.

but LED2 no light. only LED101/LED102 keep on.

is there something wrong? or I miss some steps?

Hi William,

A successful UniFlash load with no LED2 activity usually means the device didn't boot into the new firmware. Try these steps:

Disconnect and reconnect USB after programming to force a full power cycle.
Verify the .txt file used is the correct HID Bridge binary for MSP-EXP430F5529LP.

If LED2 still doesn't blink after a power cycle, the firmware file may be the wrong variant. Please try whether the same firmware work for the board in debug mode.

follow the steps that you mentioned. the program verificaiton result successful showed in console.

could you help me to confirm firmware file should be correct?

My EVM kit is MSP-EXP430F5529LP

Hi William,

You could check if the board shows up as a USB HID device in Device Manager after a power cycling - that confirms the firmware is functional regardless of the LED.
