If the debugger has connected to the CPU and loaded the program successfully, then the EnergyTrace option should be available. Are both the options under "Run -> Trace" and also the buttons under the Trace view both greyed out at this point?

See screenshots below. Server health and latency are okay - under "run ->trace" EnergyTrace is greyed out.

On a different device (LP-CC1312R1 / LP-CC1312R7) I am able to make measurements on EnergyTrace, so I suspect this isn't a CCS issue but something on device level which is missing.

Any ideas?

Thank you for this additional detail. I thought the requirement for ET was to have a debug probe that supported it and it was not necessarily device specific. I will check with engineering regarding this.

Additional information to note - I imported the same LCD example to Eclipse (CCS 12.8.1) and EnergyTrace worked as expected and i was able to make measurements.

I can reproduce the issue with the L2117. We are investigating.
