Part Number: MSP430I2040
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: C-GANG
Hi,
In a previous post, it is stated that the new C-GANG programmer also supports legacy MSP430 MCUs. But such statement is not included in the C-GANG webpage. Can someone from TI confirm and also answer a few related questions?
1) Does C-GANG support all legacy MSP430 MCUs? We use a series of MSP430 including I2040, F67XX, FR2XXX.
2) Does C-GANG programmer purchased from TI also have quota? The C-GANG programmer listed on Elprotronic website supports MCUs from other vendors, but also has an initial quota of 500 that allows programming up to 500 MCUs. After that we will need to purchase additional license. It is not much in the grand scheme of things, but a surprise nonetheless.
3) Will there be a version of C-GANG that can program up to 8 targets at the same time? The old MSP-GANG can do so, just curious if we can still fully use existing fixture.
4) Does the C-GANG purchased from TI also support Simplelink MCUs? SimpleLink MCUs are listed among supported on Elprotronic website.
Thanks.
