MSPM0G3507: Compilation Error CCS Theia V21 Our won programs and even the TI Sample code compilation error.

Part Number: MSPM0G3507

HI TI Team.

We had a very strange day today. Every thing was working fine and 3-4 hours ago started throughing compilation error for the projects developed on our own MSPM0G3507 board. We  are using the latest TI CCS Version: 21.0.0.14__1.12.0  and all software are upto date.

At last I thought of getting sample code from Resource Explore and downloaded the very simple sample application and tried to run as is and we got the following error. This error is consistant for our projects as well. Please guide ASAP as this bug may affect our deliveries. Thank you very much in advance. Error is as below.

  • This happens to me every so often. It has to do with subdir_rules.mk "forgetting" its special rule for "startup_mspm0g350x_ticlang.c".  I don't know how subdir_rules.mk is generated/updated, or what would trigger this result.

In my system, that file is in:

    "C:\ti\mspm0_sdk_2_10_00_04\source\ti\devices\msp\m0p\startup_system_files\ticlang\startup_mspm0g350x_ticlang.c"

My workaround is to copy that file into the project. (This does in effect "lock" your project to that particular MSPM0 model.)
