MSPM0G1105: Question regarding FUNC description in MSPM0G Technical Reference Manual (SLAU846E)

Hi experts,

Could you please confirm a possible documentation error in SLAU846E, page 795, Table 10-32?

The FUNC field currently shows:

8h = 64-bit multiply result
9h = 64-bit multiply result

Based on the surrounding FUNC definitions, the customer suspects that 9h should be:

9h = 64-bit square result

Could you please confirm whether this is correct?

    Hi Ibuki,

    It should be a typo here.

    According to page 785 in the TRM, the SQUARE64 operation is corresponding to a FUNC code of 0x9, and the MATHACL operation code definition in SDK source code also shows SQUARE64 defined as 0x9 code.(see hw_mathacl.h file)
