I'm trying to test Level 1 security with Physical Debug Port (SW-DP) still enabled, but with Application Debug Access disabled. So when the devices are programmed they cannot be read.

However, when I program & can still read. I have to manually assert the NRST momentarily & then is cannot be read.

There are these settings in UniFlash which implies this is done during the progrmaming cycle.

My aim is to write a utility to enable programming in China, so this as an issue.

Also I need a simple API so I can integrate this into Visual Studio, but I can't find this.

I was able to do this quite easily with SmarthRFProg just by adding these files as a project resource

Using "Generate Standalone Command Line Package" in UniFlash creates a zip file 105MB with 472 folders & 3445 files!

Hello John,

The security of debug access is configured in NONMAIN. After you modify the NONMAIN configuration and program it into device, the new configuration of NONMAIN will be affective when next time reset which trigger BCR operating.

Hi Janz,

Thank you for your quick response, it is greatly appreciated.

I understand that this, and it works only after I manually force a hard reset (drive NRST low momentarily). The question is why does UinFlash have a settings "Reset Configuration" which explicitly states a hard reset will occur before & after programming?

Yet the protection is not working until I force a hard reset myself. I don't power cycle the board, but drive NRST low momentarly.

I've just looked at the reset pin on the scope. UinFlash asserts reset during DSSM Factory reset auto but not during programming

This contrudicts the 'Reset Configneration' settings
