Fatal Error when using MSPFET430UIF

I am posting this on behalf of a student (Vikram Sharma):

 I have been using MSPFET430UIF and had no problem. I stopped using it for a while and now I started back. Today when I connected the target board tried programming it gave an error : fatal error, check whether the target board is connected. Check whether drivers are installed. I reinstalled the IAR and tried again. No use. I restarted couple of times and tried no use. I later went to device manager and found a warning symbol in hardware. I tried updating the drivers. No use. What can i do to sort out this problem. The problem is not with the target board. The drivers are not getting fetched. How to solve it? Where are the drivers? I am using WIN 7 - 32bit.
