There is an MSP340 getting started web-page, but every time I try to open it the
internet link disconnects. Anyone else with this problem.

Hello Curt. I managed to copy this link, but if you pull up the main MSP340 page there is a major heading "getting started",
but oddly it just doesnt work.
Bruce
http://www.ti.com/lsds/ti/microcontroller/16-bit_msp430/getting_started.page seems to work for me here., but let me try it and see...
You're right! If I copy the address and paste it into my browser, it works fine, but if I just click on the embedded link I go to a page that requires me to push a button in order to get to the Getting Started page. How strange! No idea what could be causing that.
Curt,
Count yourself lucky: EVERY embeddedlink I try ( and there are lots allover the place ) for 'getting started'or 'New to MSP430?'
fails. An error message says: No internet connection.
?????????? Now what?

Bruce:
The problem of embedded URL links not working is way beyond my level of understanding, so someone else here with more knowledge will have to help. Meanwhile, you might try contacting TI at
http://www.ti.com/corp/docs/feedbk2.htm
to see if they can provide some more information. ( I don't seem to be able to embed links this morning -- don't remember how I did it yesterday -- so you'll have to copy the URL and paste it into your browser.)
Hope you'll keep us posted on what you discover -- I'm mystified.
Regards,
Curt
