Smart-E-Meter using MSP430F5438A

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: MSP430F5438A

Sir,

I am doing a project on smart-e-meter using msp430f5438a.I tried measuring input voltage by modifying the code of hal_adc.c  in slac227j (user experience demo). I gave external voltage as ADC input at pin P6.7 ,but voltage observed on display was not correct and was fluctuating. Can you provide a solution for this,

  • There can be quite a few reasons for unstable ADC output from the Analog side itself. Check if you have the voltage levels in range for the ADC to work correctly. Provide details of the Min/Max voltage range. You may require a voltage divider circuit, the parameters of which needs to be adjusted to accommodate the resolution of the ADC.
