Then you will need to use a ready-made module; eg,

Beware of very cheap modules; one of the reasons they're so cheap is that they give you no documentation and no support.
As one with no prior experience, you really need to ensure that you get something that is well-documented and well-supported...

I've been using this for the last year and I like them because they are fairly easy to use:

1) You devote a pin to enable the module. This way you can control if the module is on (to do this job) or off (to save energy).

2) You output a bit stream to a MSP430 output pin.

3) This bit stream is ASK transmitted by the module ;)
