Hi,
I have the latest version of IAR and I'm using V1.4a of the MSP-FET430UIF on a Windows 7 computer. The driver installed fine on the computer when I plugged in the debugger. When I opened IAR, it mentioned that an upgrade was necessary, and attempted to program the device but crashed in the middle. The MSP-FET no longer has any LED's, but still gets recognized when plugged into a computer within device manager. When plugging into another computer, the computer recognizes the device but it still doesn't flash any LED's. Every time IAR tries to reprogram to update the debugger, it crashes.
Has anyone experienced similar problems, and overcome them?
