Hi.

Can anyone tell me the LTC1760 SMBus slave address.

In datasheet ,it says it is 0x14 or 0x16 depending on commands. I used MSP430F5524 microcontroller for smbus communication to LTC1760. I assigned LTC1760 address as 0x14 or 0x16.But MSP430F5524 controller is not able read the data from the LTC1760.

Likely, the 0x14 address already contains the r/w bit on the LSB location. The USCI module in the MSP wants the slave address without this bit, so slave address is 0x0a/0x0b. THe direciton bit is automatically added based on the UCTR bit when sending a start condiion and addressing the slave.
