Schematics of Launchpad Rev 1.4

Hi,

I am using launchpad rev 1.4 with MSP430G2553.I searched for the schematics of this revision.But I could only get the schematic for Rev1.3.

I found that the led connections are interchanged in the latest revision.I wonder if there are anymore changes.

Can anyone tell me if both have same schematics or is there any difference?

    I would like to be kept posted on the answer to this question also.  Is there a reference that tells us all of the differences between Launchpad rev. 1.4 and 1.5?

    I ask because I have an Audio Capacitive Touch Boosterpack that works with a rev. 1.5 board, but not a rev. 1.4 board, and I'd like to understand why this is.  (It's not a big problem, but I'd just like to understand what's happening between the two revisions.)

    From the user guide:

    1.3 Revisions
    The first production revision of the LaunchPad in 2010 was 1.3 and in 2012 the LaunchPad board revision
    changed again from 1.4 to 1.5 to align with the new release of value line device. The differences in the
    Schematic and the Kit Contents are:
    • Layout and Schematic:
    – Voltage feedback in the emulator changed to increase startup stability (Rev 1.3 to Rev 1.4)
    – Rearranged jumper J3 to support a vertical jumpers position for the UART lines
    – VCC on the connector J4 can now be disconnected from the emulator VCC by J3
    – Pullup resistor R34 and capacitor C24 on P1.3 removed to reduce the current consumption
    – Presoldered male headers J1 and J2

    That's helpful Jan -- thanks.  It seems my ACTBP problems aren't related to Launchpad revision after all.

    Hi,

    the revisions are on the document Jan has posted.

    Regarding the touchpad... I've been using it with 1.4 board and it works. Perhaps you forgot to change the MSP430.

    Hi kazola -- thanks for the input.

    No, I had the right chip in the board.  I've since tried using the Audio Capacitive Touch Boosterpack with a different Launchpad rev. 1.4, and as you say, it seems to work.  I haven't had a chance to troubleshoot the cause of the problem on the other rev. 1.4 board.
