Where to buy Ez430 2013 header

Are you talking about the JTAG header between EZ430U and the F2013 Target Board? If so please see page 8, FAQ 6 of the User's Guide

In that case the first response was correct: we only sell the T2012 boards by themselves. The F2013 daughter boards are not sold seperately from the kit. However, the schematic information is present in the EZ430 documentation (see the product folder) and you can buy 32 F2013 devices for very cheap (it is one of the lowest-priced MSP430s).

I think the only difference between the F2012 and  the F2013 is the ADC (10 bit 8 channel vs. 16 bit sigma delta), so if that is not an issue you could use the ez430-T2012 daughterboards that TI sells for 3 for $10.

Thanks for the info, but the next logical question is:

Why doesn't TI make the F2013 target board available for sale?  TI obviously has the F2013 target boards made and TI already has the packaging for the T2012 target boards. 

Why doesn't TI package three F2013 target boards for $15 or so?

The EZ430-F2013 target board is perfect for prototyping where I don't want to have a PC board made.  I really need the 16 bit ADC and I don't want to have to buy the programmer half everytime.

Hopefully, people just have to ask in order to get TI to sell just the F2013 target board seperately.

I strongly agree, and I second the above suggestion. PLEASE, TI, make F2013 target boards available separately to developers. After all, today's prototype may well be tomorrow's must-have consumer gizmo and give TI a major income stream!
